Homelab
A self-built private cloud running open-source services on low-power hardware.
Computer engineering student focused on networking, cyber security, and self-hosted infrastructure.
Alongside my degree I run a hands-on homelab, and I bring a background in fast-paced, customer-facing work. I study networking, cyber security, and Linux systems administration, and I'm learning C++ to program boards I solder myself. My homelab runs on my own hardware, where I self-host open-source services, run local LLMs, and practise Docker, virtualisation, secure tunnels, and authentication. The cloud I work with is one I designed and built.
Privacy technology enthusiast. Self-hosting, Linux, and open-source software.
Currently Studying Computer Engineering with Cyber Security and Networks at TUS Athlone, and working part-time at B&Q Athlone.
